Over the course of the 30-day campaign 128 people from southwestern Ontario, across Canada, the US, the Netherlands, and Germany contributed a total of $78,925. It is gratifying how new people keep coming forward to help and crowdfunding has allowed us to grow the circle of supporters.

“The Dresden 1957 documentary will save an important piece of our local history, not only for us today, but for future generations,” said Rhonda Juberville, councillor for Ward 4 in Chatham- Kent, which includes the town of Dresden. “And I’m proud to see the level of support that so many Chatham Kent residents are giving this project.”

Thank you to the supporters who got us to our crowdfunding target and to everyone who contributed throughout the campaign! Your generosity means we can continue our work on this important documentary - the untold story of Ontario’s worst workplace tragedy and the immigrant workers who lost their lives.
